Super Smash Bros. for Wii U Launch Date Trailer Streamed

The official Super Smash Bros. website announced the release dates for the Wii U version of the game for multiple territories on Tuesday. The game is slated to release in North America on November 21, Europe on December 5 and Japan on December 6.
Super Smash Bros. for 3DS launched in Japan on September 13, and North America and Europe on October 3. The 3DS game sold 2.8 million copies as of Tuesday, making it the best-selling game on the system.
The new Amiibo figures will be compatible with both the Nintendo 3DS and Nintendo Wii U versions of the game and a special Gamecube controller will also be available for the Wii U version. Nintendo showed off the first set of amiibo figures in a new trailer on Tuesday.
