The staff of the upcoming Ghost in the Shell stage play announced the play's main cast in a Niconico livestream event on Tuesday.

Juku also provided the voice for the character of Aramaki in Ghost in the Shell Arise and the Kōkaku Kidōtai Shin Gekijō-ban film.

Shutaro Oku (Persona 3, Persona 4, Persona 4: The Ultimate in Mayonaka Arena, Blood-C: The Last Mind stage plays) is directing the play, while Jun'ichi Fujisaku (scriptwriter for Blood-C, Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex anime) is writing the scripts. Tow Ubukata (Ghost in the Shell Arise series composition, scripts) is serving as editorial supervisor.

The play will run at the Tokyo Geijutsu Gekijō Playhouse from November 5-15.

The Ghost in the Shell Arise OVA project included four episodes, the last of which premiered in Japan in August 2014. Funimation licensed all four episodes and released the first episode in a special imported edition in 2013, and then released all four episodes in North America last year.

A television broadcast of the four OVAs with two extra episodes premiered in Japan on April 5 under the title Ghost in the Shell Arise Alternative Architecture. Funimation streamed Ghost in the Shell Arise Alternative Architecture as it aired.

The Kōkaku Kidōtai Shin Gekijō-ban (Ghost in the Shell: The New Movie) film opened on June 20. Maaya Sakamoto and Cornelius performed the film's theme song "Mada Ugoku" (It Still Moves).
