Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth - Hacker's Memory Game's Launch Trailer Streamed

PS4/Vita game launched Friday

Bandai Namco Entertainment America began streaming a launch trailer Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth - Hacker's Memory on Friday. The game debuted physically and digitally for PlayStation 4 and digitally for PlayStation Vita in the West on Friday.

The game shipped in Japan on December 14.

Like the first Digimon Story Cyber Sleuth game, Digimon Story: Cyber Sleuth - Hacker's Memory is a "raising RPG" that takes place in the real and digital worlds. The game tells the story about the "other side of Cyber Sleuth," set in the same setting as the first game. There are more than 320 Digimon that can be raised in the game.

The game features a new protagonist who dives into the world of hackers after he is branded a criminal for an incident he has no memory of. His name, which can be changed, is Keisuke Amasawa (Bandai Namco Entertainment also spells his last name as Amazawa). Players must collect “Hacker's Memory” items to uncover the truth about characters and events in the story.

The new game shares some maps from the previous game, but adds 30 new maps for a total of 90 maps.

A new game for the Digimon Story series is in development for the PS4.
