Gothic×Luck Performs Kemono Friends 2 Anime's New Ending Song

The official Twitter account for Kemono Friends 2, the Kemono Friends anime's second season, revealed Gothic×Luck is performing the new ending theme song "Kimi wa Kaeru Basho." Junichi Satou (fhána) composed the song. The song debuted in the series' episode 6 on Monday.
Gothic×Luck also performed the anime's previous ending song "Hoshi o Tsunagete." Both songs will ship on the five-song CD Starry Sky EP on March 13. The two-member voice actress unit consists of Mashiro Yagi and Madoka Kan, who play Greater lophorina and Western Parotia in the series, respectively.
"Dōbutsu Biscuits x PPP," a group made up of eight voice actresses from the franchise, is performing the opening song "Notteke~ Japari Beat" (Get on Board! Japari Beat) for Masayoshi Ōishi (Overlord, Monthly Girls' Nozaki-kun opening songs) wrote the lyrics and composed the song.
The new season's story begins with Serval and Caracal finding a "human" child in the forest. As they travel with the child, they meet new Friends, uncover the secrets of Japari Park, and become involved in an event that will "shake the earth."
Ryuichi Kimura (Aikatsu!) is directing the anime at Tomason. Takuya Masumoto is writing and supervising the series' scripts. Hideo Taniguchi (Folktales from Japan) is the CG director. Nobuyuki Abe returns as the sound director. Yasuyuki Konno is credited for sound effects. Akiyuki Tateyama returns as the music composer. Shinnosuke Numata is credited as animation producer.
Sega is producing a new original short anime for the franchise to accompany the Kemono Friends 3 smartphone game. Both the smartphone game and the Kemono Friends 3: Planet Tours arcade game are slated to launch this year.
