Bandai Namco Ent. to reveal more info about new game on September 11

This year's 41st issue of Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine revealed on Monday that the character Carrot will join the cast of playable characters in Bandai Namco Entertainment's One Piece Pirate Warriors 4 game for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam. The magazine also teases that Carrot will be able to turn into her Sulong form in the game.

The game franchise's Twitter account had also revealed last month that the game will feature four members of Germa 66 (the four Vinsmoke siblings) as playable characters. Other playable characters revealed via promotional videos include Luffy, Sanji, and Jimbei.

Bandai Namco Entertainment will reveal more information about the game on September 11, just before the start of Tokyo Game Show on September 12.

One Piece Pirate Warriors 4 will include stories, characters, and environments from some of the latest arcs in the One Piece anime, including the "Whole Cake Island" arc. The game will launch in 2020.

Namco Bandai Games released the first One Piece Pirate Warriors game in Japan on PS3 and later in Europe and America in 2012. The second game shipped in Japan for PS3 and PS Vita and in Europe and North America for PS3 in 2013. Bandai Namco Entertainment released One Piece Pirate Warriors 3 for the PS4, PS3, PS Vita, and on PC (via Steam) in North America, Europe, the Middle East, and Australasia in August 2015. The game shipped in Japan in March 2015 for PS3, PS4, and PS Vita. The game launched on the Nintendo Switch in Japan in December 2017.
