Cells at Work and Third Code Geass Recap Film Released Monday

New releases by MVM and Anime Limited

On Monday January 20, MVM will release the series Cells at Work! on Blu-ray. Aniplex of America described the story:

'This is a story about you. A tale about the inside of your body…

The cell-sational action comedy Cells at Work! that has garnered praises from a wide array of audiences, from casual viewers to professionals in the medical field is the latest hit edutainment now on Blu-ray. The show is available with English audio, while also showcasing the English version of the opening theme song in each episode. Carry, fix, fight! Don't miss out on your chance to own the only series starring your Cells at Work!'

Kenichi Suzuki (JoJo's Bizarre Adventure, Drifters) directed the television anime at david production, and Yuuko Kakihara (Tsuki ga Kirei, Persona 4 The Animation) was in charge of series composition, and both Suzuki and Kakihara penned the scripts. Takahiko Yoshida (Welcome to the NHK, Yowamushi Pedal) designed the characters and was also credited as chief animation director, while Kenta Mimuro was credited as cell character designer, prop designer, and animation scene animation director. Keiko Tamaki was credited for sub-character design. Kenichiro Suehiro (Re:Zero, Girls' Last Tour) composed the music at MAYUKO.

Anime Limited will release Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion III - Glorification as a Collector's Blu-ray. It is the third of a trilogy of films retelling the original Code Geass TV series. This edition contains eight art cards and an A3-sized poster, and will come with a Collectors storage box which can accommodate the home editions of all three films in the trilogy. The film is described as follows:

"With his spell of impressive successes seemingly behind him, Lelouch Lamperouge's hopes of destroying the Britannian Empire presided over by his father are crumbling at an alarming rate. With his sister kidnapped, his former friend Suzaku ignoring his pleas for help, and his organisation the Black Knights losing their faith in him, the man behind Zero's mask is left with nowhere to turn."
