Toei Animation's English YouTube channel began streaming the Bo-Bobo-Bo-Bobo-bo anime on June 28. The channel is offering the anime every weekend morning as a livestream.

Discotek released the anime as a standard-definition Blu-ray Disc set that includes all 76 episodes both in English and in Japanese with subtitles in January 2020. The company describes the anime:

In a world where hair is freedom, only one man is brave enough to defend the follicles of the innocent from the militant Hair Hunt troops of the Maruhage Empire: BOBOBO-BO BO-BOBO!

A master of the Fist of the Nose Hair, Bo-Bobo and his gleaming golden afro team up with a girl named Beauty to defeat the evil Empire and its leader, Baldy Bald the 4th. The duo's hair-raising adventures will weave them across the globe as they meet a hilarious and buzz-arre cast of new friends and brush off an even weirder list of foes. This comical adventure is surely a cut above the rest that will leave you dye-ing with laughter!

Illumitoon Entertainment also released part of the anime in 2007, but did not complete the series before it stopped releasing anime entirely. North American anime distributor S'more Entertainment released the full series, but the release did not have subtitles for the Japanese version.

The 2003-2006 television anime series adapts Yoshio Sawai's slapstick comedy manga. Cartoon Network ran the series on American television in 2005, and Viz Media published part of the original manga.

Toei Animation's English YouTube channel began also began streaming Digimon Adventure anime, the Pretty Cure anime, and the Magical DoReMi anime on Saturday.

Update: Streaming frequency corrected. Thanks, XtremeAnimeDan.
