Anime Limited has posted an announcement on its X/Twitter feed that the release date of its first Blu-ray volume of Naruto Shippūden has been delayed to March 2, due to delays in production. Both the Naruto Shippūden Collector's Edition Set 1 and the Standard Edition Part 1 have been given the new March 2 date on the AllTheAnime website.

Anime Limited adds that, "Your order will be shipped on or prior to this date, as soon as stock arrives with us at our warehouse."

The title had been previously scheduled for February 23, delayed from its original release date on January 26. The Collector's Edition is pictured right, and the standard edition is pictured below left.

The Collector's Set will include four art cards and a rigid storage box with space for Volumes 2 to 5 of the series on Blu-ray (sold separately).

According to an announcement on the AllTheAnime website last November, Naruto Shippūden will be released in a total of 20 volumes. As well as the first volume, volumes 6, 11 and 16 will have Collector's Editions, each with a storage box to include the following four volumes. Each volume will include approximately 25 episodes from the series.
