Available everywhere now, today's release is the first of new music from the series and is set to be followed by the full series' soundtrack on April 15. For the soundtrack, composer Yoshimasa Terui delivers a beat-driven soundscape teeming with dark synthwork, heightening the tension, dread and nonstop momentum of the deadly, high stakes game at the center of the series. Jujutsu Kaisen – The Culling Game: Part 1 debuted on January 8 and is now streaming exclusively in the US via Crunchyroll.
ABOUT JUJUTSU KAISEN – THE CULLING GAME: PART 1
Jujutsu Kaisen Season 3 continues the story with the beginning of the Culling Game arc, picking up after the events of Season 2. As the deadly Culling Game begins, Yuji Itadori, Megumi Fushiguro, and the jujutsu sorcerers confront a new era of danger and chaos where sorcerers and other participants must fight under brutal rules in a nationwide contest engineered by the sinister Kenjaku. Alongside his work with the band siraph, he also produces and writes music for a wide range of artists, and composes music for anime, games, and films.
His notable works include the music for the JUJUTSU KAISEN series, the music for Mobile Suit Gundam GQuuuuuuX, the opening theme “Kyoumen no Nami” for Land of the Lustrous, the opening theme “New Stranger” for Hi Score Girl, and music production for the idol group sora tob sakana.
