Katsuhiro Ōtomo's film is already the highest grossing cinema reissue film this year at the UK box office

Anime Limited has announced on its X/Twitter feed that it is adding more screenings of the current cinema reissue of Katsuhiro Ōtomo's classic 1988 film Akira. Venue details are at https://akirafilm.co.uk.

Shortly thereafter, a military squadron appears on the scene to take the boy and Tetsuo away to an army research facility.
