GDH K.K (“GDH”; HQ: Tokyo; President: Shinichirō Ishikawa) announced that as of February 1, 2006 GDH had established GK Entertainment (HQ: Puchon-shi Kyonggi-do, Korea; President: Kan Teryon; Capital: 500,000,000 Won (about \58,500,000) as a 100% owned subsidiary to assist in the production of GONZO animations.
GDH is establishing GK Entertainment in Korea to reinforce the existing Korean sub-contract production system of GDH group animation company GONZO K.K. By establishing GK Entertainment, GDH can secure and foster the growth of talented Korean staff, expand production capacity and provide a stable and constant supply of high quality services from Korea. The investment also strengthens GDH's business ties to Korea, which is a global leader in the fields of online games, mobile content, animation and entertainment.
GDH is a market-leading producer of international, technologically sophisticated, and high quality animation. The company has taken firm steps, spearheaded from its offices in Los Angeles and London, to develop content for the international market and grow the GONZO brand overseas.
