Khaotic Kon Announces Charity Event Toy Drive

TAMPA BAY, FL, August 31, 2011 – Official charity event “A Very Khaotic Toy Drive” announced for KHAOTIC KON 1 – Tampa Bay, Florida's only anime, video game, and sci-fi convention – via the convention website at www.khaotickon.com. The event's first year is scheduled to take place on the weekend of April 13-15, 2012, at the Double Tree Hotel, Tampa, FL - 4500 Cypress Street,Tampa, Fl 33607.

A Very Khaotic Toy Drive is a charity event that will be accepting donations used to purchase toys and gifts. Donations will be handed out to the St. Joseph's Hospital for children located at 3001 W. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd. Tampa, Fl.

KHAOTIC KON is a weekend-long extravaganza of the many individual communities within the Anime, Video games, and Sci-fi genres giving all a chance to come together as a nation. – from anime (Japanese animation), manga (Japanese comics), J-pop and J-Rock (Japanese pop and rock music) to cosplay (costume design and performance), Video games and Sci-fi (Science fiction).
Events at KHAOTIC KON this year include: The “Khaotic Combat Musical”, “Hetalia Nation”, “Murder Mystery Dinner”, “Evil Shindig of Mal-Intent”, costume contest, dealers'/exhibition room; Artists' Alley, an Anime Music Video contest; Official convention screenings of North American releases; Panels with anime industry guests; Live Celebrity Commentaries with the industry guests; dances and karaoke; - video game room, Interactive events and panels; and finally, continuous hours of Anime, Video game, and Sci-fi related programming.
