A total of four voice actors who portray the original characters appearing in this game took the stage, sharing their impressions of their characters and behind-the-scenes stories from the recording sessions, offering insight into the game's development process.

Pixelity held a special event stage to unveil the latest information on its upcoming XR game EVANGELION: Δ CROSS REFLECTIONS at the “EVA EXTRA 30” lounge within the venue of EVANGELION:30+; 30th ANNIVERSARY OF EVANGELION festival, which took place at Yokohama Arena on February 23, 2026 from 14:00 to 14:30.

Director and Cast Discuss the Worldview and Appeal of the New XR Game

The event stage began with an appearance by MK Choi, the game director of EVANGELION: Δ CROSS REFLECTIONS. Choi stated, “We aim to depict a 'crossing experience'—where real-world players and the world of EVANGELION, the TV anime series and the newly written story, all ‘cross’ within the same timeline—through XR technology.” He introduced the game's concept, core systems, and its two distinct play modes.

In addition, he explained that the game features controller-free interaction, utilizing hand-tracking technology that allows players to perform all actions using only hand and finger movements. He also provided insights into the new XR-driven gameplay experience made possible by this cutting-edge technology.

Following the director's presentation, four voice actors portraying the game's newly created characters took the stage: Gakuto Kajiwara as Martin Dason Holloway, Hana Hishikawa as Rimi Okada, Tasuku Hatanaka as Tomohito Yagi, and Manaka Iwami as Erisa Nozaki (in order of appearance).

After the game introduction, the four cast members responded to questions from the MC, Hyakka Ryōran, sharing their impressions of their characters and behind-the-scenes anecdotes from the recording sessions. Having played the demo version of the title in advance, the cast shared their fresh perspectives, with comments such as, “I was amazed to see the city of ‘EVANGELION’ appear right before my eyes.”

Global Hands-On Events Planned for 2026

EVANGELION: Δ CROSS REFLECTIONS is a new immersive XR game that allows players to experience a story that ‘crosses’ with the world of NEON GENESIS EVANGELION. Set in Tokyo-3 and the NERV HQ, players take on the role of one of NERV's trainees and interact with both EVANGELION characters and newly created ones. As players progress, they will grow and develop through choices and challenges, making their own story an integral part of the gameplay.

During the event stage, it was announced that global hands-on events are scheduled to take place throughout this year. For detailed information regarding event regions, schedules, and future updates about the game, please refer to the official X accounts.
