According to the Darkhorse website, Katsuhiro Otomo will write an issue of "The Hire", a comic book series based on the BMW short films. The series will also feature many American comic book writers such as Kurt Busiek, Matt Wagner and even Bruce Campbell (you know, Ash from Army of Darkness). I don't yet know what issue he will write. There have been other manga writers who have written for American comics such as Kia Asamiya, Tsutomu Nihei and Kazuo Koike.

Don't forget Clamp. They're doing something for Marvel right now.

Wow, that should be interesting. I never liked Marvel though. I read Nihei's Snikt! (a wolverine type series) and wasn't really impressed either. I wonder what franchise they will be doing.

Actually, I haven't heard anything about that since the rumor months ago and I'm starting to feel that someone just made it up to get people talking.

They had an article about that in this website. It said that clamp was going to do a manga on a character you'd never expect Clamp to do. My guess is the Hulk.
