So this doesn't really effect the overseas market, interesting none the less. So basicly rather than Animplex doing the media licenses and Sony doing merchandise licenses, Animplex will be doing everything in house. I could see some benefits from this, better organization of their licenses for one, and probably a speedier turnaround on products as well. I'm curious how cautious Aniplex will be with their licensing, I could easily see them being able to get more done with it as they've got less to work with, rather than Sony trying to handle rights from all of their media formats, not just anime, but live action and video games as well. I wonder if Sony Computer Ent. will be getting the same inhouse deal.
