Way to be literal, Toei. They vowed after All Stars DX3 "We'll never make another DX movie, it's getting too complicated."
So now they're doing the "What? We never said we wouldn't make another All Stars movie, we just said we won't make another DX movie! This one doesn't have DX in the name, so there!" thing.
Hah!
As much as I like to credit my sources, I've been digging around for a half hour, and haven't managed to locate the source of that original statement, unfortunately. I know it happened, but I can't find it.

Seriously though... With the movies limited to 70 minutes (it's like an unwritten rule about kids movies in Japan), and almost 30 cures to cover... That's nearly half the movie's run time taken up by transformation sequences and attack banks! Each character gets 1 minute of screen time, and that's not even including the ~40 mascots!

Awesome news.
I'd love to see a Gokaiger-esque season of the show down the line.. maybe for the 10th 15th or 20th anniversary
