It's most likely an update to their existing mobile game, not to be confused with the Mobage game. The one I speak of is a game where you have to physically travel Japan to get the rewards which are just phone wallpapers to my knowledge. This is just a guess though because the timer banner has the word mobile in it and only works correctly on phones or a modded chrome. Though I hope mobile also encompasses hand helds so we can get a vita game of im@s.

...Too fast.  It's probably a spin-off game or something. I'm just having fun playing the mobile game, Idolmaster Cinderella Girls. They're even releasing 5 character CDs of these characters that have never been voiced (Rin, Anzu, Kanako, Kaede, one of those twins...). I'm looking forward to what they're announcing. I hope NISA will someday license this (with all the pretty color books and all...).

Pretty sure it's just going to be more handheld games. Just like with IM@S 1 we got the three SP games along with the DS game before IM@S 2 came out.
It makes sense to make a game for the vita and then have a second season of the anime air when the game gets released. That's what they did for IM@S2 on the PS3 and the sales for that are at least 22k a vol with the LE for the anime. |

I always thought that they would not make second season until they make the 3rd main title (iDOLM@STER 3). Then base the second anime series after it. |

I think the "Gravure 4 U" bonus games in the LE is what's helping to drive sales. The standalone sales of idolmaster is averaging like 8-9K sales. |
