That header's a bit misleading. You should say new "short film", because people will mistake it for a full-length movie.

There is the anime short "Hi-no-Youjin," but it is part of a larger Short Peace anime anthology based on Otomo's works. The staff plan to screen Short Peace in theaters, just like another Otomo anthology, Memories. |

It's nice to see him working on stories again. I liked Memories and his contribution to Neo-Tokyo a lot. This seems like a thematic change for him, but he seems at home in anthologies of shorts. I look forward to more details as to the creative teams for the other shorts. It'd be great if there could be at least one really great success like "Magnetic Rose".
