Can't wait i simply loved the first series. Though i do really hope that they go to earth at some point and his friend finds out/goes to that world.

Is there any anime that Nana Mizuki stars in that she DOESN'T sing the OP?

Yes, 2x2=Shinobuden, Allison to Lillia, Itazura na Kiss, and Rideback are a few I can think of without much digging.
