Which manga do you think was the best out of these 20 entries. I'm still making my way through them, but I'll get back on this post and give my answer. In the meantime, check it out and post what you think. I wonder if the some of the contestant are actually voting for themself 20,000 times. There are a bunch there that seem pretty ugly or just not that great. I wonder what they judge on in order to become finalists. |

10 Simple Rules is my favorite. I liked the art and it made me giggle. It was a cute story and I'd definately pick it up if it got made into a series.
I also really liked Departure. Definately my favorite art-wise. Nice, simple story, too. Chronicles of the Big Feet and Little Miss Witch Hater also caught my eye, but both felt a little rushed. |

Departure is my favorite out of all of them. The art was excellent and the story was unique and interesting. I will say it was simple, but that is a good thing because its not filled with tons of detail that makes it way too complicated to understand.
My second favorite was The Orphans. The art was so-so, but the story was highly interesting. I would like it if the artist would continue the story and try to get it published so we can see what happens. My least favorite was NecrOphealia. The art was crappy. But the real reason I hated it was because most of the time I found the words to be written way too small to read, so I wasn't sure what was happening. My second least was Feast of Grass. All I can say about it is "What the hell?!" |
