I can't wait. Hopefully the BD release doesn't take too long to release.

Hoping that Nis America will be quick to grab this one and release it! Such a great story |

Jintan's "Freedom" shirt has changed from green to orange, this is clearly an important symbolic change.

I completely forgot Anohana was getting a movie. I'm kinda hesitant about it to be honest. I loved the TV series and kinda don't feel the story needs to be retold. It's listed as a alternate retelling in the encyclopedia so I kinda wonder how it will be different.
I guess if NISA picks it up I will buy it but I won't try to hunt it down if for some reason it doesn't come out here because like I said I loved the TV series and kinda don't think the story needs to be retold. |

Yes i agree, but it is being retold from Menma's point of view, which will surely ensue more sadness |

I feel like Anohana was one of NISA's best selling titles (definitely one of its more critically acclaimed title).
I would be surprised if they didn't pick it up. |

I'm definitely interested in this, mainly because while I really enjoyed the series, I thought the execution wasn't the greatest, especially in the middle where things really began to drag. So a shorter time frame may end up being an improvement.

Anaru definitely looks different/younger but that could be because she has her hair down. The others look pretty close to the same.

I'll wait to see what the reviews for this are, but if it get good reviews, i'll be really excited for it. For now i'm hesitant, but I know i'll end up watching it anyway. Has NISA ever done just a movie and not a full series?

The book that comes with the NISA DVD's has a picture of all the different t-shirts he wore. I can't remember the number but it was a rediculous number. They probably spent half to the budget on his t-shirts! Also .. Anaru looks quite different in that pic. Her new hairstyle makes her look a lot younger. |
