I'm not sure if this has been done, but I've seen "Most boring Anime" and stuff like that, but...
My question for everyone: What Anime character or character do you REALLY hate and why? I really hate: Daisuke Aramaki from GITS: SAC He just irrtates me and I dont like his Japanese or English voice, and he looks like a MONKEY! LOL Sloth from Full Metal Alchemist, I can't stand her, and she sorta freaks me out. My last is [/b] Envy from Full Metal Alchemist. Why? becasue he spoiler[ KILLS MY FAVORITE CHARACTER, Maes Hughes!] All replies will be appriciated!

Ren from DearS...she's a total dumbass who should've been told off by Takeya.
It's not a really popular anime, so I doubt anyone knows who I'm talking about....but she just annoyed the hell outta me like no other. Also, Naruto and Sakura from Naruto....just totally lame and annoying. |

Lacus Clyne from Mobile Suit Gundam Seed Destiny the pink haired singer, who's always right, never wrong.
Kira Yamato from Mobile Suit Gundam Seed/Destiny like Lacus, always right, never wrong, in addition he was overpowered, he was like Jesus GSD, with small different, Jesus rose from the dead only once and he never piloting Gundam. Kisa from Fruits Basket I hate cute girls and i usually hate children in anime. Kisa isn’t an exception. When I looked at her I felt like someone poured a huge bag of sugar down my throat. Yuki, Kyo from Fruits Basket they were annoying and boring. Thoru from Fruits Basket because she doesn’t act like human. She acts like an angel that come to save everyone. She is too perfect for me. Kagome from InuYasha I swear If I were Inuysha I could wallop her when she screamed Inuyasha, Inuyasha that really piss me off. InuYasha from InuYasha he was so indecisive and I started to hate him. Wow. I've never met anyone that actually hated the characters in Fruits Basket.
Anyway, probably one of the ones I really hate is Risa Harada from D.N.Angel. Her treatment of poor Daisuke is really hideous (PARTICULARLY in the manga), and she's sooo concerned with appearances. She's not even really in 'love' with Dark, just in love with how mysterious he is, so it's spoiler[really hard to actually feel pity for her when she's rejected, even if the anime wants you to.] A really, REALLY annoying character. |

One that I can think of right away is Yurika of Martian Successor Nadesico. Her incessent calling of "Akito, Akito, Akito!" Just wore on my nerves to no end. No wonder the poor guy ran like hell the other direction whenever he saw her.
On the male end: Kyosuke Kasuga of Kimagure Orange Road. I realize that this is a harem anime but this idiot couldn't make up his mind, or speak it for that matter, throughout 48 episodes and 8 OVAs. I really, really wanted to smack him a la Gibbs.
Do we really want to revive that one? Especially since it turned into an "I hate/love Shinji" Thread:?:

Oo that's a good one. I would agree but I see her as quite immature and naive, I wouldn't necessarily hate her for her innocence. I dislike Mayama from Honey and Clover (first series). I think he treats Yamada like trash and I just got so tired of him being so ignorant and selfish. I also dislike Rika-san because we hardly get to know her at all yet she's always there to get Mayama's attention. I just felt so sorry for Yamada! |

EVA -- Shinji. The common jellyfish has a stronger spine. Asuka. She has stock in the company that produces Kotex because she's on the rag 24/7/365. I won't even mention Shinji's Dad -- thanks to the very articulate person who summed up that wastrel.
Inuyasha -- Kikyo. She is a walking corpse! She is a priestess who keeps herself alive by stealing the souls of the newly dead. She is a parasite. |

Everyone, almost, and I mean almost, everyone on Naruto. They're like a bunch of roaches. Someone has to be emo, loud, ugly, or stupid. The Naruto cast are annoying.
One piece Monkey D Luffy - He acts silly once too often and I don't very much find him funny. Neon Genesis Evangelion Shinji - What other posters said. Plus he doesn't stand up for himself. Asuka Longley - Stubborn and sometimes inconsiderate of others. I would feel more tolerable with her if she learned to swallow her pride. Trigun Knives - Maybe it's his face that I hate but he is a maniac. He doesn't like humans. Well I don't much like him. Spiral Hiyono - As the the series goes on I felt she got more annoying. She was loud and keeps being next to Ayumu. Samurai Champloo Fuu - Can't point exactly why but I think it's because she's a ditz and I don't find her that amusing. She's not cute like she makes herself look. Fate/Stay Night Shiro - A party pooper. Wimp of a protagonist. He isn't a fun character to watch. He's In the same mold as Shinji. The Melancholy Of Haruhu Suzumiya Kyon - Bores me to tears. I hate listening to his voice because it's annoying and don't find his narrating that amazing. Inuyasha Naraku - He just won't die. I know he is the villain of the series but every villain must have their exit. Naraku just won't go away. |

Seconded, you have no idea how much I hate that annoying bitch and it annoys the hell out of me whenever her fans jump in to either desperately try to convert me into liking her or attempt to bash me for hating her and for thinking Kikyou-sama is way better -which I always end up getting the last laugh after debunking each one of their pathetic reasons for thinking she's better than Kikyou. The other character I loathe is Sakura from Naruto, sure she changes, but I find her character development rather weak, actually one of the least interesting characters in the world of Naruto since she transforms from this bitchy and weak character into a goody-two-shoes, overpowered kunoichi, in other words into a frigging Mary-Sue. Tate and Shiho (Mai-HiME): I could cut Shiho some slack since she's still a kid, though she still annoys the hell out of me, so Tate takes the cake -I hate his character design and he's plain idiot, perverted and selfish for confusing Mai's feelings back when he wasn't willing to go for her and when I heard that he was the focus in the manga that they turned it into one big harem, I hated him even more. Ayato (Rahxephon) it's hard to explain it but I hate everything about this guy -he was just plain boring and other than realizing his feelings for spoiler[Haruka] he didn't really go through any development at all. He's paper-thin compared to Shinji from EVA. Maestro Delphine (Last Exile): spoiler[mainly for killing Lucciola -I found his death scene and all those flashbacks of him and Dio when they were little rather heart-wrenching  ]
Dark (DN Angel): just like Ayato: I hate everything about him and though I liked Treize from Gundam W, his seiyuu made Dark sound all the more cocky and irritating, I would've liked the series better if Krad got more screentime than him. I don't really hate a lot of anime characters, but here we go:
Lieutenant Colonel Frank Archer - Fullmetal Alchemist: There is nothing to like about this guy at all. He's freaking crazy. He's like that feeling you get when you bite into gristle, or when a tough bit of meat in your sandwich slithers down your intestinal tract. He needs to go back to whatever vampire anime he escaped from and leave the Amestrian military alone. Winry Rockbell - Fullmetal Alchemist: Oh how I loathe her. FMA would have been infinitely better had she never existed. Every squeal, every toss of the hair, every wrench whack, every wobbly-eyes-look made me want to grab her by the ponytail and run her head through a circular saw. She served absolutely no purpose that a quieter, less annoying character couldn't have served. Takumi - NANA Ugh. What a creep. He's a controlling, manipulative, exploitative bastard, and I wish he would go die. That's all I can think of. |

That's true, but...Daisuke is pretty naive and innocent, but he doesn't walk all over people's feelings (well...until he turns into Dark). (And for the record, I still like Shinji.) |

Gotta agree with everyone on Shinji, incredible depth, and very original, but still. can't stand him.
Aww come on, I loved gendo. Simply for the fact that show needed a man besides Kagi and Toji. And god did he get poon, Ritsuko, Ritsuko's mom, Yui. Probably Rei too, that's a little nasty, but hey.
Probably my favorite anime villian. His hatred is so understandable to me.
Come on, he never forced Yamada to be all obsessed with him, he tells her to piss off quite often, but she never does, who's fault is that? Here are a couple of mine. Anyone in Bakuretsu Hunters- hated that show and everyone in it. Period. Shuuji from Saikano- Cheatin bastard. Tenzen from Basilisk- spoiler[I have to admit, his rediculous plans did provide some humor, but he killed my favorite character, Saemon.] |
