RIP Happiness Charge Precure. First time in a while I can think of that a Precure didn't make the Top 10 Rankings

No Youkai Watch because it took a week off and aired it's Valentine's special the week before.

Pretty Cure not being on it is definitely unusual though.

Are there not many young girls watching Precure nowadays? I'd imagine the merchandise will still sell regardless.

It might just be a fluke since it appeared last week and still pulls in good ratings, but the true meat to these shows is the merchandise sales, not the ratings. According to Bandai's financial reports, Precure has dropped below Aikatsu in terms of what they receive the most profit from.

In recent years a lot of franchises have begun popping up to challenge Pretty Cure for its throne at the top of the mountain: Pretty Rhythm, Aikatsu, Jewelpet, Tamagotchi, just to name a few. Only time will tell us if it can stay at the top.

Interesting that Toriko is still holding up in the top 10 despite the show almost coming to an end...
That said, what happened to Precure not making it? Could it be a slow day that's affecting its view tally?

Wow, Detective Conan barreled all the way to #2 this week. Most nights it's lucky to scrape the Top 5 because of competition from all of the more wholesome fare.

The Conan episode was a rerun too apparently.

It was episode 426 「蘭へのラブレター」 apparently.
