This article I found on AOD indicates DH has no plans to re-release 3x3 Eyes, in spite of Geneon putting out a cheaper edition of the anime. They'd rather take a chance on some obscure 70s horror than a series which is at least known by casual fans.

Not to mention the numerous delays and then the cockup of not printing enough volumes of Oh My Goddess Volume 26, causing an unnecessary backlog of back orders. Bitting off more than they could chew comes to mind. Rolling Eyes

Mohawk: I'm still waiting for those Dominion re-releases myself. Studio Proteus's just not as efficiently managed without Toren.

Andrew, if you want to make fans happy, please steal 3x3 Eyes from Dark Horse, and say, "From the creator of Blue Seed" and "Cat Girl Nuku Nuku" on the cover. Just don't release it at two a year, though. Four would be fine.

There is no forgiveness for Trigun Maximum. That is perhaps the most horrible commercial translation I have ever had the gruesome misfortune to follow for, what, six volumes? Dear God, they actually wedged a paragraph-long dictionary description into whitespace to justify the use of the word "lolicon" when "pedo" would have done just fine...
