The show was good for a while, but nothing special by the end.

I'm guessing the OVA will be the beach special that was mentioned in the show. They started episode 8 I think, with a flashback about how they went to an island, showed Kagari in a swimsuit, then cut back to him in his room, recovering from some incident that happened on the island.
