I've always been curious about this. I heard Aldrin's relationship with Maribelle is analogous to Suzaku's and Euphemia's if you get my drift!

Ending on the third volume? Hmm, so an opportunity for a one-and-done omnibus release. Hopefully that won't be too hard to find a domestic publisher for, since Bandai is no longer in the game.

Actually, I believe they've already released four volumes of this new Code Geass manga so far. Which means the upcoming ending should be collected in either volume five or volume six, depending on exactly how those chapters are being compiled. Not a bad run for something that's just a tie-in manga for an anime property that's not currently airing. As for the odds of seeing a domestic release...I wouldn't think so. Former Bandai staff did say the Code Geass manga line did pretty well for them at the time, but if nobody has picked them up thus far, I presume it would lack the necessary momentum right now. |
