That trailer was absolutely amazing and the dub sounded freaking fantastic! I've been waiting for the blurays and dub to release and I can't wait to finally see this show, never been this hyped for an anime before Anime smile

Shame that it's sub only (knew it would be) but glad saekano is finally getting a home video release and on bluray too not just dvd. If only nana's could get a home video release Sad

Will be picking up Your Lie in April and Saekano. Quite enjoyed both of them. But I'm still waiting for them to release their other titles that they seemed to have forgotten about. Like Mushishi and Mekakucity Actors.

Wow, that's a pretty insane line up of releases!! I wish they weren't all so close together, because that's going to hurt a bit, but I'm actually going to probably get all of these(though I'm ordering the Import of Anthem directly from Amazon Japan). Your Lie In April's episode distribution and price makes me think that it could potentially be two chipboard box sets. That would make me extremely thrilled. Very Happy

Did they alter YLIA's background music? Why? The original was so beautiful.

Don't really care for the dub but I'll probably pick up those Shigatsu sets anyway.

ERIC(K)AS. ERIC(K)AS EVERYWHERE. (And an Erik, too.)

This bodes extremely well. Also looking forward to watching this.

(Me reading this article)

"Hey, Erika Harlacher's in YLIA's dub cast, AND she's playing my best girl from the series? Suddenly I'm interested in this."

(sees price tag)

"Oh yeah, I forgot this is Aniplex. Nevermind then."

Not that I have anything specific against Aniplex (I do own a couple of their series), I just didn't enjoy YLIA anywhere near enough to pay that much for it. I do like Erika though - I've been keeping an eye (ear?) on her ever since I heard her performance as Ami in Toradora's dub, which was terrific.

Now Saekano I might consider picking up, but not until after I see how much I like the second season later this year. I don't want to be stuck with half of a series on my shelf if the second season lets me down - not that I expect it to, but at those prices, better safe than sorry.

Okay, finally a release date for Your Lie in April. The trailer for the dub sounds great. I am pre-ordering both volumes. And yay for Erica Mendez (who is quickly becoming one of my favorite voice actresses) interpreting my favorite character in YLiA.

On the one hand, I've been dying to snag this series up for over a year now. On the other hand, the freaking price kills me. Why not just do a vanilla edition without all the extra goodies?

I've heard nothing but praise for YLIA so I'm tremendously excited to see it dubbed!

That said, those price tags cut deep.

I'm not buying it but the dub will likely stream somewhere like on Netflix, lots of Aniplex releases there. So that's what I'm waiting for.
