Toei seems to be at their best these days when they work on little series like Kyousou Giga, Mononoke or Kuuchuu Buranko so im looking forward to it.

Plot sounds like a more aggressive/closer to "The Day The Earth Stood Still" version of Gatchaman Crowds second season
An emphasis away from action seems to be a better idea for a full CGI anime, with the character animation being less stressed than the elaborate setpieces like the Borg cube

So Toei's going to do it's first CGI TV series. Like Shirohae and DangerMouse,I also find it interesting. The plot seems like a cross between "Battle of the Planets" and "The Day The Earth Stood Still." I also agree that the cube that the alien guy showed up in is a much more elaborate and showy version of the Borg cube. One question. If this anime does get an English dub, will the alien guy sound like a younger version of Tony Jay,the guy who played the villain in the world's first computer animated series,"Reboot?"
