That's neat that they're getting more tourism in Karatsu and Hasetsu. I love when a popular series can help boost the local economy.
Here's hoping for YOI season 2 gets announced in the not-too-distant future. I also hope its success encourages more heavily character-driven series.

Kubo also tweeted quite a bit about her trip there, and she even mentioned how some fans gifted her a golden ring, to which she commented how she's "never been married lol"

Saga Prefecture X Mappa, it has now became a holy pilgrimage in the anime worldXD I can see those rise in the numbers of their tourists. I hope they build an ice rink
