Why do they have to advertise it with a traditionally-drawn key visual? It always gets your hopes up...

Looks decent now wait for the horrendous animation. DBS and Sailor Moon Crystal had some crappy animations and they improved later on, hopefully, Berserk will get the same treatment.

If not, I'll go back watching the old Berserk or Gungrave, that anime feels more Berserk than the current Berserk manga.

Dont bother get ur hopes up , the CG will take over it and be one of the lowest rated animes of Spring season..

Quicker and Cheaper, a professional artist could have this done in 2-3 hours. It would take time to assemble all the models into posses, render them, and even then you would need to paint over it in Photoshop.

I can´t believe how downright ugly the key art looks but the team is at least not making empty promises of possible quality. I am still no sure if i will even watch the pilot, but i will lol pretty hard if the show somehow got worse. They are even adapting my favorite arc. Another reason not to tune in, as the PS2 game did a fine job with their take.

The CGI'd version from last season really grew on me by end of the season. Wouldn't mind if it came back!
