In a way i am kinda glad, i was somehow disappointed to see him going from the huge open and novel world that was Animal Kingdom to setting his new story into an school life scenario, that you can practically find anywhere.
With that said, i did find the characters themselves refreshing, Riku has great ideas for design and all personality wise, and even aesthetically the manga was quite solid, but that's not enough.

I always feel bad for people that had one very successful property earlier in their career, and are unable to repeat that same success with their other works. There are a lot of mangaka that are in the same boat, and I sometimes wonder if they take it out too much on themselves. I don't think that this is anything that Raiku should feel ashamed of. He seems very upset by this, so I really hope that the people in his life can provide the support that it sounds like he needs.

Is that manga where MC shat in his pants to prevent getting taken over by demon or something?
