LUL. Too bad I already bought the Anime Limited UK Collectors box set, and I live in the US. Region-free players are great.

I don't think I'd call anniversary re-releases "important," but at least it isn't an unnecessary sequel or a pachinko game.

Oh that's good, I was worried it was going to have an unneeded sequel, I wouldn't of minded a pachinko game wither as they are very popular over there and would give Gainax some much needed money.

The recent one or the first one? I'm asking since the first one wasn't very well made.

I got the one that just came out this year. The art box it comes in is very nice, it comes with the whole series and movies, dubbed in English or French, with subs, and a really cool 40 page art book. It was only £30 when I bought it (plus a £25 international shipping fee), but I think the price went up to £45. Get it before it goes any higher.

If you prefer Japanese with English subtitles it's better to get the upcoming Aniplex USA TV series+Movies box instead. Costs quite a bit more ($150), but for an Aniplex release it's not a bad price. Most episodes on the UK release have incorrectly mixed Japanese audio and there's also 30 seconds of upscaled footage.
