Didn't Namie Amuro just retire from public performances, too? They gave her a big send off near the end of last year's Kohaku Uta Gassen.

That's correct and the tour was pretty much the end of it this past summer. I guess from here on in the anime will have to find new singers and songwriters but it won't be the same without her. She's probably one of the best singers out of Japan and she will be missed. I also miss m.o.v.e. because they split after the end of Initial D as most of them either pursued solo careers or retired completely.

Good. i hated how they changed the tone of One Piece OP's. I didn't like "Hope" either. I liked the older OP's like the ones the first 15. after that it just went down in both anime quality and opening quality.

She announced last year that her official retirement day will be September 16 this year.
