The Cagaster one (based on screencaps) seems to be full 3DCG anime.

Pretty turned off by the CG on that first one, but the others sound very intriguing, especially Yasuke. Quite a lot to look forward to.

Interesting! Very cool that Netflix is trying all sorts of creative projects from around the world. I don't think I've ever seen an animated show from the Philippines before!

The first one sounds like a regular license, since it's just a GONZO adaptation of the Mushikago no Cagaster manga.

Now, if those morons at Netflix would realize many people want weekly simulcasts.

I'm hoping that the release for these projects would be the same as Devilman Crybaby and Castlevania, all at once simultanenously worldwide without the need for TV airing.

The one I'm interested in is Yasuke, mostly because Yasuke is a fascinating historical character and it's good he's getting attention. Plus I've always wanted to see Sengoku jidai but with mechs

so you haven't watched barangay 143? It's airing on GMA and it's quite decent.

The Filipino basketball "anime" Barangay 143 just debuted in October. I'm not sure the extent to which they can call it an anime, or if it's any good, but I've been meaning to check it out just for how rare it is to see an animated project from the Philippines.

If Netflix is looking for more foreign source material to animate, I nominate the Taiwanese manhua 1/2 Prince and the Korean webtoon Tower of God Razz

Edit: #alfrescoCR beat me to the punch lol

Cagaster is clearly CG, so that is a no no from me. Yasuke sounds good and is made by MAPPA. I'm unsure of the last title, I'm not a big fan of Dai Sato as a lead writer.

You may be surprised to find out that full 3D CG is actually not really cheaper than traditional animation. It's pretty much a stylistic choice, as baffling as that may be.

All of these look and sound really cool. 3DCG is great imo when done right and all of Netflix CG anime are what I would consider great. Polygon has been doing amazing work.
