And here I thought it was weird to see a huge ad for the new DB Super Broly movie in Times Square... Fruits Basket is more obscure compared to Dragon Ball so this was an interesting move.

I just re-watched the original Fruits Baskets. As beautiful as I remembered. Told well and paced well, for what they had to work with. Here's my thing: Manga 1998, Anime 2001, Final Manga 2006. So they have about 5-6 years worth of material that wasn't used. How many episodes is it gonna take? I think they'll need at least 50. I mean, I would love a year's worth of Fruits Basket's. If that's what it takes I guess.

Wow. That is pretty crazy. Definitely not cheap. Funi must've really bagged a big one. This makes me even more skeptical that cost will be an issue for this dub.
