If Tenryuu isn't a main character it can go back into development Hell for all I care.

According to available info, Shigure is the new MC.

Nay. The AL fad is already nosediving in Japan, and the one who's doing more job at stealing its fanbase is FGO.

By leaked trailer it seems like they're going to Ten-Go theme with a little flashbacks, with only shipgirls that remained from late 1944 until the last days of Empire, and with Shigure and Yahagi as MC characters - so there will be not many popular characters (or the ones who was in the first season at all).

Nah KanColle still has a pretty big fanbase even with Azur Lane around. Not as much in the west as far as I can tell but then again it was never really a big game here but definitely still so in Japan. People can like both.

A sequel is honestly something I completely forgot about, but I'm happy. Just wish someone would license the movie, but it feels pretty unlikely.

LOL, I forgot about the sequel season. At first, I thought the announcement would be a for a comedic chibi spin-off show.

I wonder if the long delay is to iron out the complaints people had about the first season, because some were pretty vocal about it.

Good, I am happy to see this news.

I enjoyed the series I watched a few years back.

Want more jokes? Here's the revenue of AL in Japan during the last 12 months.
Quote:
2018/01 - 1,39 billion yen
2018/02 - 1,07 billion yen
2018/03 - 507 million yen
2018/04 - 406 million yen
2018/05 - 354 million yen
2018/06 - 742 million yen (Armored Trooper VOTOMS collab)
2018/07 - 441 million yen
2018/08 - 298 million yen
2018/09 - 841 million yen (1st Anniversary and anime announcement)
2018/10 - 317 million yen
2018/11 - 148 million yen (Utawarerumono collab)
2018/12 - 456 million yen (Christmas/New Year campaign)
Also, I don't even say about near double decrease of doujin circles between the C94 and C95, when KC circles decreased twice less than it's number.

6 million downloads ≠ 6 million players, by the way. Rerolling is the thing in gacha games.

Indeed. It’s 5 million players with 6 million download within 1 year while KanColle need 2 years to get 3 million.

Source for the Azur Lane revenue? What about KanColle revenue? KanColle has been around longer and has finish airing anime so it’s given it will have more doujin and still overall larger popularity.

you littreally just posted an increase in the last one there its almost like a mobage has low gain when events may or may not be running. Also its pretty much a silly idea to reroll in a game live that given how f2p friendly it is.

Side note hella amusing always seeing doujin numbers come up like thats some concrete number as a mobage being good by ths logic GBF should be dead given how low its always in the list but we all know that is pretty incorrect
