I always wonder why they try to make actors in those live-action manga/anime adaptations look so...cartoonish? You know what I mean - bright colours, oversaturation, funky outfits nobody IRL would wear... Is this kind of style popular with Japanese audiences? If I wanted to see quirkiness, I'd stick to the manga/anime.
