I guess this week's This Week in Anime tackles it, but I'm thinking that when you look back at this article, it may seem strange that Vivy isn't included.

[edit: whoops, read through the article and forgot the title... sponsored content...]

Vivy is a Funimation show. For a strangely omitted Crunchyroll show, I’d mention 86.

I was wondering if Tokyo Revengers was any good ... kind of wondering if I should give it and/or Mars Red a try. This season is STACKED.

Such a shame that 86 didn't make the cut,I feel like it doesn't get the recognition it deserves

I'll never stop professing my love for Backflip!!. Can't stop, won't stop. There is a distinct lack of Fairy Ranmaru on this list, Lynzee, wink wink nudge nudge Wink Surprised at the lack of Fruits Basket.

There's so much good stuff airing this season. I'm watching 26(!?) shows including ongoing shows like Spider, Back Arrow, and Dragon Quest. So far I've cut out Mars Red and Goodbye My Dear Cramer as the former felt like I'd have to read a literary analysis after every episode to understand the weekly theme, and the latter had weak/annoying characters and barely animated soccer that wasn't worth sitting through.

Will there be a Funimation list? I would be interested to see one.

The best? I don't see 86 or Isekai Maou Omega on the list.

Sponsorship (advertisement by any other name) should be at the top of the article - not buried at the bottom.

^I think it's pretty obvious from the title?

Except for Zombieland, this seems more oriented toward debuting series, so 86 is the only title I'd say was overlooked. Otherwise, I'd recommend more Thunderbolt Fantasy, Welcome to Demon School, and Fruits Basket.

Zombie Land Saga Revenge, Odd Taxi, and To Your Eternity are all among my top shows this season too. I've been considering checking out Those Snow White Notes as well, but my watchlist is pretty packed.

I realized it benefited greatly from it's somewhat unique introductory two episodes.
...Then it became a school club anime.
the first episode made me think he was a young adult, one who could naturally live with a young adult woman, hang out with peers in bars.
nope.

I'm so glad Snow White Notes is on here. It's absolutely lovely.

I also want to give a shout out to Tropical Rouge Pretty Cure even though it started last season. It's just...still so good and so full of heart and makes me smile every time. Plus it has some of the BEST characters.

I'm with you there. Not a single disappointing episode so far. Some people might find the fantastical depiction when a character did a beautiful form overdramatic, but to me it makes for a beautifully animated moments and shows how much the main character was so in love with the forms from his pov.

The dynamic and energy of the characters also remind me a lot of Haikyuu!! which I love.
