But man, I do think it's funny that even Gundam is going the cute girls route for Zeon pilots.

There's this great Gundam-san gag, where Amuro is horny teenager, and he steals the Gundam and goes AWOL when he sees some Zeon propaganda with a cute girl. I can't help but feel this is literally that gag taken to it's extreme conclusion.
