Should rename to "You Like Me, Not My Niece" because her "daughter" is actually her niece.

Biologically, sure, but she still raised her since she was little. Even calls her mom. So for all intents and purposes they are mother and child.

One of my favorite New Yorker cartoons: A man arrives in heaven, and he looks nervously and confused at a giant throne on which is seated a giant housecat, which says with a smile, "What were you expecting?"

And to drive the point home further, the Japanese title has "alternate reading" katakana of "mama" by the kanji for "watashi" [me], making the title "You Like Me (Mama), Not My Daughter?!". Using "niece" in the title instead would definitely go against the author's intentions.

The male lead also calls her "Ayako-mama" in childhood flashbacks.
