Catching up on anime news so this reply is a bit late, but it's funny because I was talking with my boss (in Japan) about how inflation in the U.S. is crazy. Apparently the cost of living in Japan hasn't changed much in 30 years in Japan, so inflation doesn't affect the country in the same way as it does here. However, no change at all while it is changing everywhere else in the world is also not good, so Japan made plans to try to raise the annual inflation 2%... and failed.
