I don't think any level of preparation based on the show's "femdom fetish" premise could have prepared me for the inclusion of giant robots.

I think it's mentioned in the series that the otome game is a really bizarre one where they basically seemed to cram a hundred ideas into one thing. I believe it was like... the first otome game made by a company that usually does action games. tonally the manga is pretty weird because of that. __ I wrote it off at first as being a shitty misogynist series and then read the manga and while I wouldn't say it's a great series... I did enjoy reading it in a sort of guilty pleasure way. I can't say I'm looking forward to the anime heaps per se (especially considering the bug eyes) but I'd consider watching it. |
