This is great news. I wonder how much they are going to animate since there are only 68 chapters so far.
I hope Dandadan is next. These 2 might be my favorite non One Piece manga currently ongoing on Viz's website

Correct - VOlumes 1 through 3 are currently on sale and volume 4 will be going up in November.

The manga is just my style. I'm happy though, as always, less than thrilled at a manga getting animated before it's finished. Still, yay.

I'm super happy this is happening. I do wonder if the author stopped publishing those splash page "chapters" because this was coming down the pipe. I hated those pauses. Pretty art, but they kept breaking up the flow of the story.

If you mean the interstial "#.1" chapters on Shonen Jump, those weren't being made in place of regular chapters. Early in its run KN8 was on a 3-on-1-off schedule, and those color pages were illustrations the artist posted on twitter to promote each new chapter, and Viz was including those so readers could see them. The reason they're not included anymore is mostly because KN8 moved to a bi-weekly release a while ago.

68 chapters is largely enough for a 24-episodes season.
