The PS 5? What's that? I don't know what they're talking about. There's no such thing as a PS 5.

The whole analog stick mechanism thingy being replaceable is nice though it would be nicer if they fixed the stick drift problem altogether. I'm on my second DualSense and it already has some mild stick drift. If this'll be in the same price range as an Xbox Elite controller then I sure wouldn't wanna pay serious money just to have to buy a set of analog stick replacements every year.

Was going to say the same thing.
That’s the biggest issue that needs addressing.

Agreed. I saw some comments about how it provides a way to deal with stick drift, but that is something that needs to be handled at the manufacturing level. A pricey controller that lets you buy replacement parts isn't a fix.
I'd like it if they would make an attachment like the dualshock 4 controller since the back buttons are nice, but they aren't something that I'm going to spend $100+ to get since the rest of it isn't stuff that I see myself using.

Please don't drift. My joycons and dual senses drift more than any previous generation controllers I've had.

Can you replace the battery? Because they have serious memory issues. Don't know why people give the Xbox controllers grief for using AA batteries because you can find some good rechargeable AA's.

Likely because in 2022 there should not be battery operated devices that don’t come with their own battery. I also don’t know how reliable the options are but I bought some Nyko batteries for my cousin’s Xbox One controller and they’re finicky at times.

But if they fixed it, then people wouldn't have to keep buying new controllers!
Fortunately, you can buy Hall Effect sensors for the Steam Deck that are immune to drift, and there are third-party controllers that use them as well, so hopefully if the entire analog stick module is replaceable here, somebody will make suitable replacements.

some people whine about xbox batteries cause they think internal rechargable batteries are the best til it dies or warps or exslodes which is why i prefer xbox giving you the choice
