He is hardly the first mangaka who is limping through his final arc in Jump. The series might end in early 2026 now as he "only" drops 3 chapters a month.
He´ll be off the scene for a bit before his upcoming idol manga launches and I bet that it won´t be in Jump itself. It's quite funny that 7 pages of Gojo´s corpse in action was the last thing he delivered before being hospitalized.

The true reason that Akutami is in the hospítal is that exactly that. He wants revenge for what Akutami has been doing in the Shinjuku arc.[/spoiler]

he got traumatized from being forced to invovlve gojo in the story again after he just got rid of him lol
