Having read the manga (which goes further than the light novel that was axed) spoiler[it wasn't simply an attempt at comedy, she really aims to 'mate' with him eventually, and in light of the story's backlore it wouldn't even be the first time it has happened between a 'cat' and a hero. Where do you think she got the idea from to begin with?]

Definitely feels like a series you go into expecting it to be degenerate and horny...

I've read volume 1 of the Manga and as soon as the elf licked her mouth in excitement I knew what she wanted and it's a huge red flag for me. I will not watch.

Looking like it'll be a highlight of the season. Just like Inukai-san's dog. Surprised
Though with the fantasy world setting, I'm curious to see what other layers the story will touch on in accompaniment to the expected horny dynamics of the leads.

I'm intrigued. So I'll look forward to it. Cool
