I've got nothing against some fan service anime - Yuuna and the Haunted Hotspring being the most recent one that had nudity, I suppose (I didn't know all those bands of light would disappear when I bought the dvd, I swear). And I was all prepared to make jokes about how much I regretted my fascination with time travel since it was going to force me to watch this tawdry smut over and over and over again as part of my experimentation in trying to recreate the phenomenon. But the female lead's Don't Toy With Me Ms. Nagatoro (never made it to episode 2) vibe and cheat motif doesn't really appeal to me. Can't say the male lead's latest interpretation of the spineless doormat with a much abused kind heart really draws me in either. Can't say I see this one going the distance.

It did sort of feel like one of those shows that hadn't really decided if it wanted to go tits out or not. The tits do come out, but then there are also a bunch of those "not quite" shots that shows that don't want to bring out the fully-operational battlestation do. At the end of the day, it's not my fetish, so probably not. |

I know for some bizarre reason you think that fanservice drives my viewing habits, but if that's true why did I drop both Elf Chick Molesting Her Kitten and Ninja Chick Wearing Skintight Suit from last season? Look, when I want to get my visual jollies, I don't waste my time with either ecchi or hentai... I go right to the holy source: live action porn, the way God intended us to.
As for this show, I did sample it even though I suspected I was probably gonna drop it faster than a pair of Takamine's panties. I just didn't find the show very funny which is kind of a kiss of death for me. I am actually going to check out the second episode simply because the premiere didn't really give any indication of what the show is going to do with its premise. I suspect all it's going to do is use the "gag" to repetitively revel in Shirota's discomfort and embarrassment. But I'm willing to see if my expectation will be exceeded. |

Gina S. finally get to you so you are adapting the practice of making up alternate titles? 
I actually found both of those shows solidly mediocre (instead of terrible), so having something nice to look at helped.
Never, ever watch a German language dub of this type of material, or you will never be able to watch anything (including anime) dubbed again in your life without cringing. (Of course these are horrible quality dubs that sound like bored narrators in a phone booth.) Been more than 40 years and the memory still haunts me, and a large part of why I only watch subbed anime.
Think I will skip on checking it out for now then.
Another reason for me to skip if the lead is a lot like Nagatoro (not one of my favorite characters). |

@ Piglet the Grate, I generally only rely on parody titles when I can't remember the real titles and I'm too lazy to look them up, but I also have to make sure people know which shows I'm talking about.

I don't go out of my way to watch ecchi titles, but I also don't mind them. However, I'm big on time travel because I've always loved the concept. That being said, Takamine's blackmailing and forced manipulation borderline pissed me off, and the uncensored oppai don't make up for it. I have this feeling Shirota's kindness will start to change Takamine for the better and probably make her less hard on herself to be so perfect all the time, sort of like a reverse-Komi-Can't-Communicate. If not, it's just boobs, butts, and suggestive under-garment cues for a whole cour. I'm sure Patreon A.I.-artists will have a field day with this show.

I do feel conflicted, as I do like the confidence, but the blackmail isn't cool.
How does she know that seeing her boobs makes someone immune? Has it happened before? Also, if she is losing her underwear I would think she would wear she wouldn't miss. |

Well, she's still manipulative, but maybe a little less blackmail-y? It's a weird dynamic those two have. He does everything out of fear that she'll send him to jail, but she seems to be doing everything as a power trip and rewarding him with "I won't send you to jail" or "here, have a peek/cop a feel." The fact that his character doesn't seem to have an ounce of sleaze in him (so far), reinforces the notion that he may very well be able to change her. I just honestly don't know how she can change for the better, though, unless they actually get together, she stops manipulating him, and they start helping the world with her time travel powers? Heck, they probably won't ever get together till the end. I can't think of how this has 10 volumes of manga when it's just a bunch of ecchi and/or embarrassing moments. But hey, Gushing Over Magical Girls has 11 volumes. Sex(y) sells. |

That's the perfect title to called this anime, but then again it sounds like a porn (or hentai) parody of The Girl who Leapt Through Time so maybe Please Put Them on Takamine-San! sounded less porn/hentai-like name for this particular anime. I just started to watch the 1st episode last night, and let say I'm kind of proud that Crunchyroll was able to get the uncensored version from AT-X over the censored broadcast (ie: Tokyo MX, BS11, etc...), but yeah this story well I'll keep an open mind since I stopped watching ecchi some 10 years ago, I would like to watch episode 2 but sadly I don't have CR Premium. |

Gushing Over Magical Girls has an actual plot though, and big cast of characters with their own goals. This is just very horny rom-"com" with hot dominatrix tsundere. The only reason it goes on is because art is very good and author is rather creative with designing new scenarios for all those scenes of erotic teasing. |

So, the fact that the kid is not a sleaze seems to be part of his attraction for Takamine. Plus, in some chance encounter in elementary school he stole her heart through some act of kindness, possibly involving an abandoned kitten.
As a result, part of her schtick seems to be cultivating self-confidence in him — making him worthy, probably. |
