Yeah, it was okay but I'm not sold yet. I kind of feel like I did with New Saga in that last season when I was watching about 10 titles, this likely would have gone the distance, but I just don't know given how many shows I may end up with. Pet peeve of mine: I find it grating in shows where magic is an element when a character or characters have stock phrases they repeat a lot as incantations. Boy that gets tedious fast for me. And having Sensei constantly repeat how he will always protect his students is also gonna get old real quick. |

Hell Teacher feels like a retro anime in both the good and bad. The action looks nice and they make Nube seem rather badass. The monsters are surprisingly creepy and the characters are quirky, I also like the vibe the school has going for it. The shounen cheesiness is indeed very present and that includes the good teacher repeating himself a lot, which is not a deal breaker for me and very much a thing of that time.
