At first I was curious as to how Luci got casted in what I'm sure is an LA dub until I looked up that Sola Entertainment's CEO, Joseph Chou, is an ADV alumni and it just clicked for me.

I'm mean sure, remote casting/recording is still a thing but this is like what, Sola's fifth anime that she's voicing a major character for, it surely can't be a coincidence.

As a matter of fact, it would also explain how Sentai Studios got to dub some of Sola's anime.

I was wondering about her inclusion there. Aside from Seitz being a good choice, she stood out since there wouldn't have been a particular reason to do that unless somebody wanted her specifically.

Having heard the first episode, I like what I’m hearing. I also stand by the idea that this is the first Adult Swim anime that feels like an Adult Swim show and not a pretentious exercise that believes it’s more intelligent than the competition. (And that applies to both original shows like Uzumaki and anime parodies like Perfect Hair Forever).
