I have a feeling that the reviewer will have more issues with the next parts of the series. I can't tell if it's nostalgia or simply because they just have issues with Horizons in general. Do not get me wrong Horizons does have some flaws but I do not think it is az bad as some people make it out to be.

It shows how far the Pokemon dub has come that now they can get David Kaye to play someone!

The last stretch with Laqua is disappointing, but in a way that's on par with the rest of Horizons thus far. Promises a more serialized epic narrative, but it falls short and ends up feeling small and rushed instead. Which isn't helped by most episodes having animation director credits that tell the tale of something hastily cobbled together to make a deadline, giving the whole production a lack of scope and grandeur necessary to sell these big plot moments. The highlights for this chunk remain Sango being Sango and Geeta embarrassing herself by losing to 3 kids with not fully evolved starters
